Tutunamayanlar Synopsis

Tarık, who has never worked and has no intention of working, falls in love with İrem during a job interview. İrem comes to the neighborhood where Tarık lives and starts working at the book cafe in the neighborhood. İrem’s dream is to be successful, to start her own business, and to return to her old days one day. Tarık, who sees that the way to impress İrem is to start a business, one day meets İlhan, who is the Muse. With İlhan’s ideas, he embarks on fun business ventures, all of which will fail.

Ece Çesmioglu as Irem

Ece Çeşmioğlu (born 26 November 1990) is a Turkish actress. She graduated from the Theater Department of Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory.

Ece Çeşmioğlu was born on 26 November 1990 in Istanbul. She graduated from the Theater Department of Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. She started her acting career at the age of 12 in Çocuklar Duymasın. Çeşmioğlu then drew attention with her performances in various TV series.

Zafer Algöz as Ilhan

Zafer Algöz (born 30 August 1961) is a Turkish actor, best known for his films Salkım Hanımın Taneleri (1999), A.R.O.G (2008) and Yahşi Batı (2010).

He began acting classes in 1975, which were held by Bursa State Theatre. In 1980, he attended the Ankara State Conservatory Department of Theatre, graduating in 1985. In the same year, he began his acting career at Bursa State Theatre.

Dogu Demirkol as Tarik

Aydın Doğu Demirkol (born 6 September 1988) is a Turkish comedian and actor. He was born in Ankara as the son of a lawyer mother from Mersin and a doctor father from Balikesir of Circassian origin.

He attended secondary school in Amasya and high school in Ankara. He graduated from Istanbul University Computer Engineering Department for his undergraduate education. Demirkol, who previously worked on various comedy videos on social media, participated in the 2012 talent show. In 2016, he performed at BKM under the name Open Microphone. After her success there, he participated in the program called Güldür Güldür as a guest and presented a short stand-up show.
