Kahraman Baba (English Title: My Hero Dad) is a Turkish action and drama television series signed by Ay Yapım. While Osman Kaya sits in the director’s chair, the screenplay is written by Sevgi Yılmaz, Devrim Yıldız Özdemir and Bahar Kaya. Görkem Sevindik, Nilay Deniz, and Ebrar Alya Demirbilek share the lead roles in the series about the lives of firefighters series ended with its 8th episode, which was released on July 26, 2021.

Kahraman Babam Synopsis

Ugur, the fire chief dedicated to saving people, was unable to pull his wife out of the flames on a dark night. Ugur, who buried his wife after this event, which was the turning point of his life, also lost his only daughter Omrum. My life is now settled with his mothers’s family. Cem, who was once a dear friend of Ugur, is now the enemy of his friend with whom they saved many lives shoulder to shoulder. He thinks that Ugur caused his sister’s death.

He entered into a legal battle with Ugur because he wanted his nephew Omrum to grow up in a loving family environment. Ugur and his friends, who intervene in a fire, achieve a great success. Ugur who saved the children waiting for death inside, returns to a year ago with the man he wait while the extinguishing works were still in progress. Now he has a clue about the fire that killed his wife. Ugur will take his first step on this road that will reach the head of the arson gang.

Ugur will enter into a relentless struggle both to find the perpetrators of the fire in which he lost his wife and bring them to justice, and to take his daughter, Omrum, the meaning of his life, with him. As the court-appointed forensic pyschologist Yonca witnesses Ugur’s battle, he will be the most important person to influence the big decision.

Görkem Sevindik (born 17 October 1986) is a Turkish actor. Sevindik was born on 17 October 1986 in Adana. He studied acting at Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

He made his television debut in 2010 by portraying the character of Pusat in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu. After briefly appearing in Kalbim Seni Seçti, another breakthrough in his career came through a role in the popular TV series Söz. In 2020, he joined the cast of Ramo, acting alongside Murat Yıldırım and Esra Bilgiç.

Nilay Deniz

Nilay Deniz (born 3 May 1993) is a Turkish actress. After studying acting, she made her television debut in 2010 with a role in the Behzat Ç. series.

She continued her career with recurring roles in series such as Ah Neriman, Güneşi Beklerken, 20 Dakika, Mor Menekşeler and Hayata Beş Kala. Her breakthrough came with Aşk Yeniden, in which she had a leading role. In 2017, she had the main role in Ateşböceği, portraying the character of Aslı.

In 2018 she acted in a movie called ‘Butterflies’ which won numerous awards including The Grand Jury Award in Sundance Film Festival. Tugce Altug received numerous awards for her performance in ‘Butterflies’.
